A Disney production mixing animation with live action. Lonely orphan boy Pete (Sean Marshall) finds a new friend in a surprising form: Elliott, a 12-foot tall dragon that has the power to make itself invisible. Together they innocently cause chaos in their sleepy hometown, but their partnership is put in jeopardy when a visiting medicine seller (Jim Dale) tries to kidnap Elliott.
The second series of the comedy that follows a pair of mismatched cops who encounter more than their fair share of mishaps, both on and off the beat. NYPD officer Francis Muldoon (Fred Gwynne), a shy, clever bachelor, and his dim-witted but inquisitive partner, Gunther Toody (Joe. E Ross), are beloved in their community, the 53rd Precinct in the Bronx. Trouble comes with the job, however, and the pair often find themselves taking centre stage in local calamities.
The series follows the mis-adventures of NYPD officers Gunther Toody (Joe E. Ross) and Francis Muldoon (Fred Gwynne) in the fictional 53rd precinct in the Bronx, assigned to Patrol Car 54. Toody was short, stocky, nosy, not very bright, and lived with his loud, domineering wife Lucille. Muldoon, a shy bachelor who lived with his mother, was very tall, quiet, and more intelligent. Episodes in the first season featured show business pros Wally Cox, Jan Murray, Molly Picon, Maureen Stapleton, Jake La Motta and many more guest stars.
